African women are always performing a task. This lack of time is a main issue to their empowerment and is also why many artists paint them in their works. The daily African life is unconceivable without the woman, who not only take care of the children, but also works on the kitchen and many times travels very long distances to fetch water or wood. In this everyday scene, three women are working in the preparation of the meal. While two are ready to pound, the third one is bringing the ingredients.
