The first thing you notice when you enter Kris’ workshop is the big smile with which he greets everyone. He sits on an old chair to work, surrounded by reused cans of painting filled with sand in different colors, created by himself. A small radio on the wall, always switched on with the latest news. His specialty consists in creating beautiful works of art using sand. Sometimes the sand is naturally colored and other times he uses different techniques to give it the desired color. This work depicts a traditional mask of the Basari people.
